First lineup announcements and early bird tickets end TONIGHT
It’s been a very busy and exciting few days following the announcement of an artist every day. It all started with the announcement of Victoria and then Deco, Pleasure House, Kyko, Alxndr, Marsicans, Dance a la plage, Pixel Fix and Young Kato were added to the bill. This saw some familiar faces being welcomed back and second chances being given to others! A definite dream of a line-up so far if you’re into indie-pop.
Today we’re delighted to add four more artists!
We are not worried about bringing back favourites to the festival [if it isn’t broken why try fixing it?] and Youth Club are certainly not an exception. Since their first appearance back in 2014 when they headlined the second stage on Friday night they have continued to establish themselves – which included featuring at Radio 1’s big weekend in 2015 and making the BBC Radio 1 Introducing playlist just a few weeks ago. If you’ve seen them live before, you’ll know why we’ve welcomed them back!
Definitely one of the most hyped bands around at the moment (deservedly so) and 2016 is looking like a very big year for them. Sundara Karma will be heading our re-vamped Tipi stage this year and we cannot wait!
Similar to Sundara Karma, Pretty Vicious are another example of a band with a lot of deserved hype around them at the moment. 2016’s Slaves/Royal Blood? You may have noticed that they made Radio 1’s sound of 2016 long list and also performed at its Future Festival. These guys are going to absolutely rock on the mainstage!
We’ve been trying to get Theme Park for 4 years now and it finally is going to happen! We absolutely love their indie-electronic melodies – give ‘Jamaica’ a listen. Having taken a break for a couple of years Theme Park are set to release their second album later in the year. Cannot wait to hear it!
So there it is. For now!
Early bird tickets end tonight so hopefully the line-up so far is enough to encourage you to save a few £s
We will be making further announcements over the coming weeks and all I can say is that it is going to get better and better!
